This bashring is made from  6061-t6 aircraft aluminum and is made by WCM. This guard is .210 thick(5.33mm) It fits a 4 bolt crankarm with 104 BCD spacing and is meant to protect a 32 tooth chainring. This spacing size is the large majority of what is sold today for mountain bikes, such as shimano, truvative, race face, fsa, bontrager and many many more.

We gave this guard a tooth design because we found it superior to to a smooth round ring. With a tooth type this will glide over an obstacle about as well as a round guard. But once you begin to pedal and are still on the obstacle the teeth help to dig in and propel you forward rather than just slide.  We also gave it a unique overlapping machine cut finish because polished finishes are impossible to keep looking great, you can just touch them with your fingers and they scratch. Our finish is very durable in comparison and will be looking great for a long time to come. As you notice in the pics we also gave the teeth area a different finish for a very cool look. Oh, and did I mention it only weighs 76 grams !!!

This chainguard is designed for crosscountry and enduro racers and can withstand light to moderate downhill riding. If you've got 8 inches of travel and use it all on a regular basis, then this bashguard is not for you.
